As a Sr Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role executing sourcing strategies to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity. You will be responsible for executing complex projects, and collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve sourcing objectives. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive change across the organization. You will report directly to our Strategic Sourcing Director and you'll work out of our Monterrey/Juarez location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the company by driving cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Execute sourcing strategies that align with the organization's goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and supplier diversity

· Execute sourcing projects from initiation to completion, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and delivery, ensuring project goals are met within scope, budget, and timeline.

· Assess and mitigate procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions, compliance issues, and quality control, to ensure continuity and quality of supply.

· Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.

· Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

YOU MUST HAVE

· 5+ years of experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance

· Strong leadership skills

· Proven track record of driving cost savings and supplier performance improvement

· Excellent negotiation and contract management skills

· In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.

· Experience in contract management and execution
