Responsibilities that include data analysis and identification of process improvement. The role will span all operations on site and will give the successful candidate a very good understanding of all aspects of the operation Projects will incorporate lean manufacturing, theory of constraints, quick response manufacturing, Just-In-Time, Methods-Time Measurement, or a variety of other systems improvement philosophies.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating braiders and training new team members on various braiding processes.
  • Supporting lean and continuous improvement ideas (CIs) such as 5S, time studies, and partnering with the Braiding Support Team Members on implementing Cis.
  • Training and presentation skills working with a cross-functional team.
  • Assisting in the analyzing, designing, and implementation of manufacturing and business process improvement, resulting in increased capacity, reduced lead-time, reduction in the work-in-process, improved fill rates, and improved process flow and efficiency.
  • Assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of effective metrics with internal customers or suppliers to ensure unbridled supply is achieved.
  • Participates in multiple facets groups across the organization including manufacturing, design, supplier development, and documentation.
  • Create strong relationships with internal and external customers to ensure success.
  • Makes recommendations to design teams, which drive higher yielding, lower cost, and more manufacturable products.

Required qualifications:

  • 1 year with an AA degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in medical device manufacturing
  • Experience working with MES or SAP systems
  • Braiding experience
  • Training Experience
