Design and develop networking system configuration software, including networking interfaces, networking API, and protocols. Participate in the architecture and development of networking system configuration to ensure functional requirements are met. Develop networking APIs to support new networking features in Apple systems and address regression testing and cross-functional requirements. Assist in System level software design and Operating system understanding to address internal database impacts. Design test plans for database user interface utilizing knowledge in applications and programming. Collaborate with networking interface cross-functional teams (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Cellular) to design and integrate new features needed for Apple products. Document software defects using bug tracking system and reporting defects to software developers. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on the functional requirements and the larger context of the product and network environment. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 - $214,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
