JOB DESCRIPTION


Be a part of a team of Quality Engineers at the ARDC site that applies its expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements. You will drive process initiatives that ensures compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance and, product quality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and perform quality system audits.
  • Liaise with customers and regulators on quality issues
  • Perform supplier assessments and management of suppliers
  • Manage training program and maintain certifications of all personnel including 3rd part
  • Support QA regional and global initiatives.
  • Maintain and update all regulatory authorities and ISO manuals
  • Conduct warranty and escapes review
  • Conduct in house training on QA specialized areas
  • Manage Honeywell Operating systems initiatives (Continuous improvement)
  • Spearhead line rejects meeting and conduct investigation with 3rd party and supplier to eliminate rejects
  • Manage organizational metrics and reports as assigned by the manager.
  • Manage internal audit program
  • Manage publications of quality procedures
  • Perform Root cause and corrective action and manage this program
  • Liaise with customers on customers survey
  • Host external audits

Must Have

  • Bachelor degree, engineering discipline preferred.
  • At least 5 years working experience in an aviation industry, and candidates with Quality systems experience will be preferred; however a strong engineering discipline will also be advantageous.

  • Must be competent in use of computers, and programs like Microsoft windows, explorer, words, excel, PowerPoint, access data based.
  • Ability to communicate and manage external auditors.
  • Able to communicate well to the workforce in terms of educating personnel with requirements.
  • Must be a team player and able to exhibit leadership in driving for corrective actions and improvement actions.
  • Candidates must have the drive and enthusiasm towards continuous improvement through use of six sigma tools and RCCA.
  • Those with and AS9100 lead auditor qualification will be preferred, candidates not meeting this requirement are expected to pursue it immediately when on board.
