Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Senior ETL Engineer (Salesforce) (multiple positions) in Irving, TX.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform the ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading) for Salesforce data process to build the pipeline to connect the raw data to the repository for both the retail and commercial banking organizations;
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to ensure the software artifacts produced adhere to U.S. Bank standards;
  • Design ETL and Reporting solutions and modules for data warehousing;
  • Take full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code;
  • Consider scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs;
  • Test and troubleshoot code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures;
  • Identify and evaluate industry trends in database systems to serve as a source of information and advice for senior management.

Basic Qualifications:

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computational Science and Engineering, Information Technology, or related STEM field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience as a Software Developer or related occupation.

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following:

Designing ETL and reporting solution(s) and building modules for data warehousing projects; Preparing detailed specifications to write programs, and to design, code, test, debug, and document programs; Python, Docker, Putty, RedHat Linux, GITHub; and Qtest, JIRA, Netezza, Snowflake SQL Development, Snowflake DML commands, Snowflake cloud architecture, and Data Build Tool (DBT).
