People Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor the India-based actuarial team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Oversee technical development plans, ensuring team members are progressing in actuarial competencies and certifications.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career growth.
  • Promote team engagement, retention, and professional development through coaching and recognition.

Engagement Leadership

  • Provide responsive and proactive support to U.S. client teams and internal EY stakeholders.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery of actuarial services for U.S. retirement plan engagements.
  • Drive efficiency and timeliness in project execution, balancing workload and resources effectively.
  • Monitor and improve engagement metrics such as turnaround time, accuracy, and client satisfaction.

Coordination with U.S. Leadership

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the India team and U.S. leadership, ensuring alignment on priorities, expectations, and strategic goals.
  • Participate in regular leadership meetings to share updates, insights, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate on staffing, training, and process improvements across geographies.

New Business Development

  • Support proposal development and pricing for new client opportunities.
  • Contribute actuarial insights and India team capabilities to business development efforts.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and add value to existing clients.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 12+ years of U.S. actuarial retirement experience
  • Proven leadership experience managing actuarial teams
  • Relevant credential such Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or Enrolled Actuary (EA)
  • Deep expertise in ProVal and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural collaboration skills
