- Strategic Communication Planning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans that address the unique needs of diverse employee groups across Greater China, considering role, tenure, and employment type.- Employee Engagement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance employee engagement, creating and executing strategies that foster a positive and productive work environment. This includes leveraging owned platforms and incorporating learning and development initiatives.- Crisis Communication: Develop and implement crisis communication plans and manage communications during critical situations.- Change Management Communication: Lead communication efforts surrounding organisational change initiatives, ensuring transparency and minimising disruption.- Content Creation: Develop compelling and engaging content across various platforms, adapting messaging to resonate with diverse audiences.- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and providing strategic counsel.- Measurement & Analysis: Track and measure the effectiveness of communication initiatives, using data to inform future strategies.
  • Native fluency in Mandarin Chinese and excellent written and spoken English. At least 10+ years of experience in strategic communication, change management communication, and crisis communication within a large, multi-disciplinary organisation.
  • Deep knowledge in developing and implementing integrated communication campaigns, with a strong focus on employee engagement initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of the nuances of the Greater China market and its workforce.
  • Language ability in Cantonese
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organisation, be able to organically grow internal relationships, to influence and lead through ambiguity in order to produce forward-thinking creative.
  • Possess a strong editorial point of view and narrative ability, building key messages for work ranging from commercial marketing campaigns, to product launches.
  • Proven ability to interpret understand global business challenges and formulate effective communication that resonates in the APAC region.
  • Demonstrated experience working with HR/People teams on employee engagement initiatives.
  • Experience in corporate communications or government relations and or working with labour relations and legal functions is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to ‘see around corners’ to understand global business challenges and formulate effective communication strategies that support the audience needs and business goals.
  • Exceptional learning agility and an understanding of Generative AI techniques that can inform global communications plans.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a related field.
