As a Product Test - Automation Test Engineer here at Honeywell Smart Energy, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and solutions in the Smart Energy industry. In this role, you will impact the development and deployment of cutting-edge technologies that optimize and protect critical resources for utilities and energy solutions. Your technical expertise in testing methodologies and tools will be instrumental in delivering high-quality products to our customers.
You will report directly to our Test Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Raleigh, North Carolina location on a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities - You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans and procedures, as well as analyzing test results and driving corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, design test strategies, and develop test cases.
- Execute tests, analyze test results, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Develop and execute test plans and procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of our products and solutions
- Work closely with development teams to reproduce and debug issues
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and tools
YOU MUST HAVE - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 2+ years of experience in firmware or software testing or related field
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools
- Experience in developing and executing test plans and procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
