Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience working in a hardware lab environment, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience working on wafer-level or chip-level probe testing or optical lab automation and scripting (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW).
1 year of experience in optical transceivers and testing.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP).
Experience with Linux/Unix.
Experience with lab test and measurement instrumentation (e.g., fiber optic active and passive devices), and with fiber optics components handling and cleaning.
Experience with data center optical transceiver standards.
Experience with lab test automation frameworks.
Understanding of computer and networking systems such as physical, functional, logical, mechanical, optics, electrical, software, thermal, etc.
