Job Purpose
Professionals having below skills with work experience around 10 to 12 years:
- Experience on one or more of Banking modules in any of Core Banking applications
- Retail and Corporate Banking: Deposits, Loans, Cash, Collections, Payments, Forex, Trade Finance, Treasury, Liquidity Management, KYC
- Lending (Securitized, Unsecure, Mortgages)
- Payments and Cards – Payment networks, Switch
- Regulatory and Compliance
- Treasury and Investment Banking
- Wealth Management
- Proficiency in French language is must.
As a Manager / Senior for Core Banking Modernization, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing core banking solutions that meet the needs of our customers and business stakeholders. You will also work closely with project stakeholders, cross-functional teams in the France region, to propose, drive and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Your key responsibilities
- Strong stakeholder management, candidate should be proficient in French.
- Collaborate with French stakeholders to understand business requirements, work with teams/POCs in France region to document the customer problems.
Preferred skills:
- Develop and maintain core banking applications, modules.
- Implement and integrate core banking modules, including like accounts management, transactions processing, customer relationship management (CRM), and reporting/analytics etc.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures for core banking systems, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with quality assurance (QA) engineers to ensure that software solutions meet quality standards, including functional requirements, performance benchmarks, and security best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and share best practices to promote a culture of learning, collaboration, and excellence within the development team.
Functional/Technical:
- Experience in core, corporate banking systems, other financial services, or related domains.
- Understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience with any of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) and proficiency in SQL and database design.
- Familiarity with modern software development tools and practices, including version control systems (e.g., Git), IDEs (e.g., IntelliJ IDEA, Visual Studio), and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Should have good communication skills in French language. problem-solving, analytical skills.
- Business Analyst experience is nice to have.
