ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Participate in business continuity planning and execution of exercises, providing risk advisory feedback.
2. Participate in design and execution of DR planning and execution of exercises, providing risk advisory to tech owners.
3. Participate in resiliency planning and ongoing routines for the enterprise, providing risk advisory to technology teams.
4. Ensure business continuity testing and DR testing are executed according to plan and measured.
5. Provide reporting on results of DR and BC testing, identifying areas for improvement.
6. Work with partners to evaluate evolving risks and ensure risk mitigation plans are established to improve processes.
7. Participate in actual events to monitor activities, ensure processes are followed, actions and risks are addressed real time, and facilitate technology retrospective review.
8. Partner with risk advisory peers aligned to tech leaders, line of business peers and second line partners.
9. Participate in establishing and reviewing key processes and controls.
10. Review and provide feedback on control testing and assessment results, and monitor action plans accordingly.
11. Participate in issue identification, establishment of strong remediation plans, and monitor successful completion.
12. Participate in new technology decisions to understand DR and BC expectations and integration.
13. Provide coaching and mentoring to support growth and development of teammates and provide a pipeline of talent to the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or science/academic field, or equivalent education and related training or experience.
2. 5 years of risk management leadership experience in financial services or related field
3. Deep working knowledge of key risk types within assigned areas of focus
4. 3 years proven leadership experience in resiliency and disaster recovery and working knowledge of impact/integration with business units.
5. Working knowledge of rules/laws/regs aligned to technology for business continuity and incident management.
6. Strong experience and background in core focus areas as defined by assigned business unit.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to think critically and creatively to problem solve and improve process to mitigate risk.
9. Ability to navigate the organization, conduct discussions across all levels of the company.
10. Ability to provide effective challenge to across levels of the organization.
11. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.


1. Master’s degree in finance or equivalent science/academic field.
2. Seven years’ experience in resiliency, DR and incident management.
