For this position you will have a strong background in OO design with Java/C++. Experience working with web services, XML, JSON, and GraphQL is desired. Linux system development experience is a plus. You will be building tools and services that work horizontally across Prime Video Sports to ensure high customer availability. This will include identification of gaps and the tools to plug those gaps, including full-stack software design and development. You will collaborate with other engineers and managers to design services which meet key business needs and scale to the size of Prime Video data. You will prioritize data-driven decision making, taking initiative to collect data and derive insights supporting engineering design decisions.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
