The Executive Assistance Centre of Excellence (EA CoE) isworks in a fully integrated way with onshore colleagues, participating in meetings, projects and planning activities as part of one team. GDS AWS also includes the Program and Operations Management Centre of Excellence (POM CoE) with a similar construct. While service delivery responsibilities are aligned to the EA CoE, the Philippines location leader role is across both CoEs.


Key Responsibilities:

The Executive Assistance CoE Service Delivery Leader has responsibility for operational and service delivery excellence of regional teams under the function, based out of GDS Philippines. Your responsibilities include:

  • Driving the GDS Enablement Services priorities and ambition, as it pertains to GDS AWS EA CoE Philippines.
  • Leading diverse service delivery teams spanning 100+ resources to achieve KPIs, financial prudence and delivery excellence.
  • Overseeing onboarding of new EA CoE resources, in line with the target operating model working closely with the onshore teams, as applicable, providing relevant technical training for an effective go-live of resources.
  • Coaching and developing all direct reports in line with EY Performance Management and Development Programs and related initiatives
  • Identifying, evaluate and assess individual training and development areas for all members of the team. Ensure a robust talent development plan is in place, in collaboration with GDS Talent function
  • Establishing a governance with stakeholders to get a good understanding of their priorities and share best practices.
  • Enabling weekly, monthly or quarterly report outs to stakeholders and / or GDS leadership, as they case maybe.
  • Leading the innovation agenda for the GDS Philippines teams, in line with the plan for EA CoE. These include actively contributing to process improvement ideas, codeveloping of solutions using emerging technology, building a culture of innovation in the team.
  • Being responsible for the business performance and participating with insights at the business review forum.
  • Identifying issues and concerns on any of the areas mentioned above and working towards resolution in a consultative approach with the EA CoE Leader.
  • Working across geographies with other EA CoE service delivery leaders to achieve common priorities and goals.

The GDS AWS Philippines location Leader has responsibility for strategic or operational initiatives, location specific areas and talent acquisition specifics for both the EA CoE and POM CoE in Philippines. Your responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the GDS AWS Philippines business representative in a pan-location forum.
  • Working with GDS centre leaders on GDS AWS specific service delivery, operational, financial or talent requirements
  • Acting as point of connect between GDS Enablement Services Leadership (including direct collaboration with Executive Assistance CoE and Program and Operations Management CoE) and GDS enabling functions as Talent, Finance, Risk, Operations, IT, WES
  • Leading the Philippines AWS chapter in GDS ES strategic initiatives
  • Being the escalation point of any operational matter that is specific to Philippines

Other Requirements:

  • Occasional travel will be required for global meetings
  • Frequent meetings with others across global time zones will require some calls to be made outside of standard business hours

Education:

  • Master’s in business administration (any specialization)

Experience:

  • 8 - 10 years of experience in service delivery, operational excellence or shared services for a multinational organization
  • At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial position, involving strategic operations, planning and execution of global KPIs
  • Experience in building high performing teams across generations, cultures and locations
  • Experience across client/internal projects, focused on the development, improvement and deployment of products or tools including change management.
  • Experience in transitioning and / or setting up new roles from the onshore organization to offshore centers.
  • Proven track record of working with a senior stakeholder population and demonstrating customer centricity.
  • A strong understanding of the Philippines market and local regulations
