You will join as part of the AWS Professional Services (ProServe) Associate to Consultant (A2C) practice, which focuses on the accelerated career development of university graduates and early career professionals.
Key job responsibilities
As an Associate Cloud Infrastructure Architect is an emerging leader, with previous experience architecting and building solutions for the cloud. The Associate Cloud Infrastructure Architect will assist on projects, providing best practice advice to customers. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing highly-available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software, automating infrastructure provisioning and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines, and optimizing cloud infrastructure operation.
You will also have the opportunity to create white papers, write blogs, build demos and other reusable collateral that can be used by our customers. Most importantly, you will work closely with our Solution Architects, Data Scientists, and Service Engineering teams.Diverse Experiences

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Familiarity with Networking fundamentals, Security, Databases (Relational and/or NoSQL), Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows)
- Experience developing software code in one or more programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc).
- Strong technical communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Implementation experience with AWS services
- Experience with systems administration (Linux/Windows) or network administration (DNS, IPsec, BGP, VPN, Load Balancing).
- Troubleshooting: Experience with QA, testing, helpdesk, IT support, or any technician or quality assurance type work.
- Passion for experiencing new technologies.
- AWS Certification(s), such as Solutions Architect Associate and/or Data Analytics Specialty.
