Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant operations experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of relevant operations experience with 2+ of those years involving leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

• 4+ years of experience in technology manufacturing or related industry.

• 4+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.

• 4+ years in a leadership role with or without direct reports (only applies to positions with direct reports).

• 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).

• 2+ years of working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development: Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive product strategy for emerging technologies in the PC business, aligned with the company's overall vision and goals.

• Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the emerging technologies landscape. Analyze competitive products and technologies to inform strategic decisions.

• Manages implementation of and helps develop departmental policies and initiatives to meet operational goals, quality, and cost objectives.

• Manages complex plans based on project and resource requirements across technical areas. Develops and implements process improvements to increase efficiencies across the department.

• Tracks and manages metrics and medium-sized budgets to support staffing, equipment, and other operational needs. Escalates issues or deviations in metrics and proposes corrective actions.

• Leads complex analyses to identify where an issue has occurred, makes recommendations for how to address issues, and identifies patterns and implications for work.

• Guides others on gathering, integrating, and interpreting information from a variety of sources. Seeks information within and across teams to help identify fundamental patterns/trends and troubleshoot problems.

• Works with individuals inside and outside of own function to integrate complex projects and/or ensure changes work with other components of a specific project.

• Communicates within and outside of project team to resolve conflicts in implementation schedules, design or implementation challenges, and other complexities.

• Manages team project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for large and/or multiple projects.

• Gathers and authorizes resources based on priorities, new product introductions, equipment efficiency and materials supply.

• Re-scopes projects, identifies resources, delegates work, and reviews the work of team members in order to address changing timelines or priorities.

Level of Responsibility:

• Works independently with minimal supervision.

• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc.

• Works within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department.

• Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).

• Tasks often require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; extensive planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.
