What you’ll achieve
As a Computational Fluid Dynamics Analyst,you will work with a cross-functional engineering team to deliver advanced liquid cooling solutions for AI, HPC, and enterprise server marketsYour simulation and analysis will enable the latest and technologies frombehavior of liquid cooling components.
You will:
- Work with key stakeholders to align on modeling requirements, performance metrics, and boundary conditions
- Buildand pre-process models, mesh, solve, post process, and analyze results
- Run parametric studies to optimize the performance
- Present findings to thermal engineers and management toidentifyproblem areas and opportunities to improve design forcost, power, and cooling efficiency
- Establish new processes, andmaintainconsistent modeling practices within theCFD
Essential Requirements
- 12+ years industry experience or equivalent skill; must include 5+ years’ experience modelling liquid cooling or equivalent skill
- Experience in CFD modeling liquid cooling for electronics including fluid flow and heat transfer analysis. Experience with FEA modeling, ideally in ANSYS for part deformation.
- Expertisein using Star CCM+andIcepakorFlotherm
- StrongCAD experience with CREO
Desirable Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in mechanical engineeringwith a focus on CFD
- Experience with liquid cooling in servers. Knowledge of cooling requirements for GPU’s and CPU’s
