Based in Atlanta, Georgia you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects andyour degree to contribute to the design of highway/roadway transportation related projects.
What you will do:
- Utilizing CADD to prepare various engineering drawings, layouts, and/or models to communicate project detailsin accordance withestablished standards and procedures;
- Participating in project meetings;
- Complete assignments as assigned (prepare calculations, reports,etc)
- Assistin providing technical and operational support for exposure to:
- Highway engineering principles, standards, and practices;
- Project Delivery for key clients (including the design, environmental, and procurement processes);
- Various Related Highway Disciplines (Stormwater management, green infrastructure, utilities, structures,etc
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineeringfrom an accredited program
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, pptx)
- Ability to work with a diverse and integrated team
- Good written,listeningand verbal communication skills and ability to be able to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Ability todemonstrateinitiative and curiosity to complete assignments on time
also have:
- Interest in a career in transportation engineering/ highway projects
- Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- 1 year ofpreviousdesign or intern experience.
- Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (preferablyMicrostation/OpenRoads
