Your day to day

In your day to day, you will:

  • Define and Drive Vision: Develop and execute a strategic vision for automating technical documentation using generative AI and other automation techniques. Ensure alignment with overall product and company goals.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with engineering, data science, and product teams to identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions that enhance the developer experience.
  • Optimize Workflows: Analyze and optimize existing workflows to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Implement best practices for documentation processes.
  • Enhance Documentation Quality: Ensure that technical documents are accurate, up-to-date, and engaging for external developers. Find ways to automate content updates and generate high-quality documentation.
  • Measure and Improve: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of documentation automation. Continuously iterate and improve based on feedback and data.
  • Communicate Progress & Results: Report progress and results of experiments and product launches. Always focusing on accountability and impact.

What you need to bring:

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on technical products and automation. Proven track record of launching and scaling products in workflow automation, machine learning, or applied AI.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of generative AI, automation techniques, and their applications. You need to understand the limits of prompt engineering versus fine-tuning. You must be able to define success metrics for AI initiatives at the technical level and end-user benefit level. Ability to work closely with engineering and data science teams.
  • Product Execution: Finding the fastest path to proof-of-concept to test quality and efficacy, then taking successful ones to production with masterful navigation and fulfillment of legal/compliance requirements.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment on vision, roadmap, and priorities. Experience in influencing senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to re-visualize workflows and find areas to improve. Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach. Ability to navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions.
  • Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Proactively reporting results of your work with transparency and insights.
  • Passion for Developers: Deep understanding of developer needs and a passion for improving their experience through high-quality documentation.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management or Engineering.
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field is helpful for this role.
  • Highly skilled problem-solving and technical skills. Demonstrate a tech-savvy approach and love to stay on top of industry trends.
  • Prior experience in financial technologies, banking, or finance sectors is a plus.
