Key job responsibilities
As your customer's AWS CTO, you will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build deep adoption and broad use of AWS within your enterprise customers, and you will do this by mobilising resources within AWS and working with our extensive partner network.Responsibilities include:
• Develop deep, consultative relationships with Enterprise customers to understand their unique business challenges, technical requirements, and compliance needs.
• Provide expert guidance on how to optimally adopt and leverage the full potential of AWS services to modernize applications, migrate workloads to the cloud, and accelerate the development of innovative industry solutions.
• Architect and deploy resilient, secure, and scalable cloud-based solutions tailored to your customer's industry.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with customers to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Enable customers to achieve their business objectives by fully leveraging the capabilities of the AWS services and industry best practices.
• Stay abreast of the latest AWS services, features, and best practices to ensure customers benefit from the your knowledge.
• Share knowledge and insights to help customers navigate the evolving cloud landscape and contribute to the ongoing development of innovative AWS offerings.A day in the life
As an Enterprise Solutions Architect, you will manage your time to support our customers and account teams with your detailed understanding of AWS Services. Where a customer's need is not your forte, you will reach out to SMEs via AWS internal mechanisms while retaining ownership of the customer's inquiry. As a Solution Architect, you will go beyond the technical solution architecture and work with the account teams, specialists and partners to deliver a practical solution that will accelerate the customers business outcome. Having successfully delivered for our customers you will scale your impact through your Thought Leadership and having gleaned customer signals and feedback to improve our services you will work with the Service teams to make AWS products and services better then they are today. You will also contribute to uplifting your knowledge through AWS' broad catalogue of accreditation and education opportunities.

- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
