SAP Developer ABAP & CAP AI Project - SAP Globalization Services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using ABAP (including RAP model) and CAP .
  • Implement business logic and services on SAP BTP that integrate with S/4HANA and AI-powered automation components.
  • Build and expose OData/REST APIs for consumption by UI, AI, and backend services.
  • Support database modeling and data access with CDS views and CAP entities.
  • Collaborate with architects and senior developers to ensure scalable and performant solution design.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines , ensuring adherence to SAP’s clean core and extensibility guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing ABAP and CAP solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (UI, AI) to deliver end-to-end features.

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on development experience with ABAP (preferably RAP model) and CAP on SAP BTP.
  • Knowledge of CDS views, OData services, and integration patterns with S/4HANA.
  • Experience with database schema design and SQL .
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (Git, GitHub, Jenkins/Project Piper) and automated testing frameworks.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and work on AI/Knowledge Graph integration within SAP.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with SAPUI5/Fiori for building or extending UIs.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and SAP extensibility frameworks.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML technologies or Knowledge Graphs .
  • Background in ERP or globalization scenarios .
