The Product Support Organization is looking for a Hardware Engineer to drive avionics hardware and software designs, enhance manufacturability, perform failure analysis, and drive scalability. This role will be hands-on requiring demonstrated troubleshooting capabilities, innovate within a constrained design space, and efficiently perform with speed.You will engage with experienced engineers (Electrical, Mechanical, and Software) to support and sustain cutting edge designs, drive key aspects of the product definition, execution, test, and troubleshooting. You will support design validation and reliability, as well as, the transfer to manufacturing; including alternate source component selection and qualification.
Export Control License

- 4+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume
- Experience with prototyping and implementation
- Experience working in design, product (technical or operational) support, or field service
- Experience with new product introduction/launch, and change introduction
- Experience with troubleshooting and trend analysis
- Experience in component selection and understanding of component reliability

- Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools
- Experience with MRB, nonconformance processes, and quality systems
- Familiarity with regulatory agencies, and regulatory requirements
