In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the state of the art Test Labs environment, Flight Simulation Benches and hardware for on target testing the Next Gen Avionics. This role includes insuring the usability of the Lab by maintaining the Micro SITS and Mini SITS in the correct hardware and software configurations, completing new system integration activities for bringing SITS Benches on-line and maintaining their configurations, troubleshooting problems with bench hardware and wiring, and supporting engineering teams with general bench usability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain state of the art Test Labs environment for on target testing of Next Gen Avionics
  • Establish and maintain Lab environment and infrastructure to maximize facility availability
  • Configuration and management of Simulation Benches to support multiple user test environments
  • Troubleshoot problems with bench hardware and wiring, as well as integration and simulation problems
  • Completing new system integration activities for bringing SITS benches on-line and maintaining their correct hardware and software configurations
  • Initiate automated testing to validate bench IO configuration.
  • Test data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including Systems, Hardware, Software, and Test
  • Experience with common lab equipment i.e oscilloscopes, signal generators, meters, emulators, logic analyzers, etc
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Associates degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Systems, or related field preferred
  • 6+ years of Engineering Technician experience
WE VALUE
  • Experience with integrated avionics or related aerospace systems
  • Experience with aircraft simulation environments is of value
  • Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, data analysis test software, emulators, logic analyzers, etc
  • Experience with Agile development processes
  • Familiarity with system development lifecycle guided by FAA/EASA requirements
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
