Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strong customer service by responding quickly and accurately to client requests, offering solutions to client needs, and developing and maintaining client relationships.
- Manage client accounts, including initiating payments upon client instruction while ensuring that overdrafts and operating losses are avoided.
- Review, action and approve account ticklers (reminders) in a timely manner. Ensure all account information is kept up-to-date and monitor account risks.
- Analyze legal agreements and supporting documentation from M&A shareholders to make decisions on funds release.
- Ensure all account activities comply with the relevant governing escrow and paying agency agreement and JPMorgan policies and procedures, including account documentation, callbacks, investments, billing, account setup, and account termination.
- Partner with Middle Office, Product Management and Sales to maximize new business opportunities with existing client base.
- Provide strong customer service by responding quickly and accurately to client requests, offering solutions to client needs and developing and maintaining client relationships.
- Participate in and lead special projects to improve process efficiencies and the client experience, including the timely and accurate completion of project-related deliverables.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance
- 2+ years of work experience in financial services
- Familiarity with legal agreements through past work experience
- Ability to excel working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment that requires problem solving and strong attention to detail
- Team player, proactive, multitasker, strong organizational skills, strong attention to risk controls.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal partners
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Preferred experience within Escrow and Paying Agency, Trust or Custody
- Customer Service Experience
- Accounting or Payment Processing Experience
- Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) or Debt Capital Markets Financing experience
- Advanced Excel and Word skills
