Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong customer service by responding quickly and accurately to client requests, offering solutions to client needs, and developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Manage client accounts, including initiating payments upon client instruction while ensuring that overdrafts and operating losses are avoided.
  • Review, action and approve account ticklers (reminders) in a timely manner. Ensure all account information is kept up-to-date and monitor account risks.
  • Analyze legal agreements and supporting documentation from M&A shareholders to make decisions on funds release.
  • Ensure all account activities comply with the relevant governing escrow and paying agency agreement and JPMorgan policies and procedures, including account documentation, callbacks, investments, billing, account setup, and account termination.
  • Partner with Middle Office, Product Management and Sales to maximize new business opportunities with existing client base.
  • Provide strong customer service by responding quickly and accurately to client requests, offering solutions to client needs and developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Participate in and lead special projects to improve process efficiencies and the client experience, including the timely and accurate completion of project-related deliverables.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance
  • 2+ years of work experience in financial services
  • Familiarity with legal agreements through past work experience
  • Ability to excel working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment that requires problem solving and strong attention to detail
  • Team player, proactive, multitasker, strong organizational skills, strong attention to risk controls.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal partners

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Preferred experience within Escrow and Paying Agency, Trust or Custody
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Accounting or Payment Processing Experience
  • Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) or Debt Capital Markets Financing experience
  • Advanced Excel and Word skills
