As a Full-Stack Engineering Manager at Netflix, your role will be multifaceted. You will be responsible for creating a strong vision, formulating a strategic roadmap, and leading a team of top-tier software engineers. Your main task will involve overseeing the development and optimization of sophisticated full-stack workflows for all things revenue & financial reporting. You will also be instrumental in managing and mitigating technical challenges that arise from the ever-increasing volume and complexity of our productions, all the while ensuring the precision and timeliness of our financial data.
Your Responsibilities:
Drive success in a lean organization structure, emphasizing individual responsibility and minimal processes.
Identify and foster the development of innovative solutions that enhance our understanding of Revenue Financial data.
Oversee the team's design and development of scalable, highly available, and user-friendly solutions on AWS, using technologies like React, Node.js, and Java.
Champion product quality through the team, emphasizing enhanced observability, alerting, dashboarding, and the development of cutting-edge tools.
Embody and champion the Netflix culture.
Lead the team of engineers to build efficient tools that accurately track all aspects of Revenue Infrastructure Engineering
Ensure the design and implementation of intuitive user interfaces in alignment with best practices in UI/UX.
Guide the team in developing and implementing interactive UI components, data visualization tools, and real-time analytics dashboards.
Enforce coding standards and conduct regular code reviews to ensure the application's robustness and reliability.
Promote and enforce best practices in full-stack development within the team, including responsive design and accessibility standards.
