About the Role

The ideal candidate is highly self-directed and has strong experience in brand media and marketing strategy, investment planning, benchmarking and measuring performance against objectives, as well as driving executive-level communications and partner management. They will manage processes and work cross-functionally by acting as the conduit between marketing, media and data science and translate brand media measurement needs into data science requirements to build a robust reporting ecosystem. They also will continuously uplevel our approach to brand media by leading media investment planning, developing audience segmentations, and analyzing data to drive campaign optimization. Additionally, they will drive our media learning agenda by identifying innovation opportunities and piloting tests.

What You'll Do
  • Partner closely with our data science and research & insights teams to drive brand media and measurement strategy, including measuring the efficiency of brand media and marketing campaigns
  • Develop and optimize processes for performance reporting, competitive reporting, and analysis of key metrics
  • Improve investment efficiencies by collaborating with media and marketing leadership on investment strategies
  • Lead annual media investment planning by developing standardized sizing methodologies, scenario planning, and exploring partnership opportunities
  • Analyze internal and external data to derive insights, develop audience segmentation, and create target audiences in partnership with our data science, research & insights, media, and business strategy & planning teams
  • Drive media innovation efforts by finding opportunities, piloting tests, and crafting actionable recommendations
Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in media strategy supporting a marketing organization.
  • Advanced SQL/Google Sheets proficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Working knowledge of:
  • Brand lift studies
  • Brand health trackers
  • Econometric modeling (MMMs, etc)
  • Understanding of media metrics
  • Ad serving software
  • Familiarity with app based analytics
  • Consumer segmentation
  • Understanding of ad verification tools (DoubleVerify, MOAT, IAS etc)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in brand measurement, media investment planning, analytics, strategy
  • MBA degree
  • Never hesitates to dive right in and address something hands-on, persevering and finding solutions.
  • Biased toward action and a master disambiguate/simplifier, always pushing towards clarity and delivery.
  • Demonstrates optimism, respects others and fosters teamwork.
  • Can collaborate with leaders and team members at all levels in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to clearly deliver information to a variety of audiences
  • Highly-proactive, organized, self-starter capable of effectively managing several projects at the same time
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data, synthesize complex ideas, and extract the relevant information

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$152,000 per year - USD$169,000 per year.
