Implement and execute a global strategy to protect Tesla from online counterfeiting and trademark infringements
Manage global brand protection efforts and enforce Tesla’s trademarks across various digital platforms, including websites, social media, and online marketplaces
Manage customs seizures and support customs recordations to prevent counterfeit goods from entering the market
Forecast and manage the brand protection budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support global and U.S.-based initiatives
Provide guidance and support to Tesla's legal team, including working with outside counsel on complex brand protection issues
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in marketing, legal, and operations to develop long-term strategies, policies, and procedures for brand protection
Lead and manage external vendors involved in brand protection efforts, including online monitoring services
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand protection or intellectual property enforcement, with a focus on online brand protection, trademark law, and civil/criminal enforcement
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise communications for both internal and external audiences
Proven ability to communicate effectively with outside counsel, legal teams, and various stakeholders
Exceptional analytical, judgment, and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to assess risk and develop proactive strategies
Experience in the tech or automotive industries is a plus
