Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams of 5-10 people.


Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
• This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.


Preferred/Additional Qualifications

  • 4+ years people management experience
  • Experience with security, authentication, authorization
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • Or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 5-8 people responsible for core platform development.
• Design high quality features in C#/Java using clean and tested code.  Integrate Azure technologies to achieve high scale and reliability.
• Focus on quality and review development designs, do code reviews, participate in coding if needed.
• Participate in org wide planning and handle planning at your team's level. Handle load balancing and task assignment and execution reviews and postmortems inside the team.
