Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 20+ business analysts and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving.
  • Drive adoption of best practices in analytics, experimentation, and machine learning deployment.
  • Analytics & Data Science Delivery
  • Design and deliver interactive dashboards, AI-driven data products, and predictive ML models to enable business-critical decision-making.
  • Lead initiatives to predict customer behavior, including purchase patterns, CRM campaign responses, and churn/upsell/cross-sell potential.
  • Oversee product analytics efforts, including experiment design, A/B testing, and statistical validation, to optimize customer experiences and business outcomes.
  • Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary analytics partner to senior business leaders in Focus Categories (Fashion, Collectibles, Vehicle Parts & Accessories, Live Commerce).
  • Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations, influencing strategic decisions across category management and customer engagement.
  • Represent the India Analytics Center to global stakeholders, building trust and credibility through impactful delivery.
  • Innovation & Thought Leadership
  • Champion the application of advanced ML modeling techniques to business challenges.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and tools in AI/ML for competitive advantage.
  • Drive continuous improvement in analytics methodologies, data quality, and automation.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Experience
  • 12–15 years of progressive experience in data analytics and data science, with at least 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of applying analytics in a consumer internet / e-commerce environment highly preferred.
  • Strong people management experience, with demonstrated ability to lead and scale teams of 15+ professionals.
  • Technical Expertise
  • Hands-on background as an analyst/data scientist, with deep proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and standard ML libraries.
  • Exposure to advanced ML techniques (predictive modeling, classification, clustering, recommendation engines, NLP).
  • Expertise in product analytics: experimentation frameworks, A/B testing platforms, and causal inference techniques.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization, BI tools, and dashboard design.
  • Educational Background
  • Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) is a plus.
  • Leadership & Soft Skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex analyses to non-technical audiences and influence at senior levels.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a bias for action and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Passion for leveraging AI and data science to solve high-impact business problems.
