As the Portfolio Operations and Planning Lead, you will join the broader Finance Product organization, reporting to the Product Portfolio Operations Lead. You will be responsible for activities related to managing portfolio priorities and decisions. You will partner with existing product teams to coordinate changes, and support the Head of Product in influencing senior stakeholders across the bank, maintaining strategy, and driving out a strong product management culture.

Job responsibilities

  • Coordinate of cross-product initiatives within Finance across products - plans, roadmaps, metrics, and reports
  • Support the Head of Product in influencing senior stakeholders in technology and business
  • Create the content to support communication of the products and their plans to users and stakeholders
  • Monitor overall health of the portfolio through key metrics & relevant data; scaling best practices and standards within the product portfolio
  • Manage timelines and impacts/risks pertaining to project deliverables to key stakeholders; ensuring timely escalations to executives
  • Present findings and recommendations for action to senior leaders of the company, and support the contributors to do the same for their work
  • Identify future scenarios and create a compelling case for one scenario over others; Identify strategic levers, option sets, and dominant strategies
  • Benchmark against best practices in best-in-class product organizations

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of full-time professional work experience
  • Experience with cross-product initiatives in complex / matrixed environments
  • Experience within a Data or Product or Operations function
  • Experience in Finance desired
  • Expert in stakeholder management; reporting complex initiatives and briefing executives
  • Bias towards action and making decisions with incomplete information
  • Understanding of Agility standards and best practices
