The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Identification of new business opportunities for our range of Glass Bubbles and Nextel Ceramic Fibers

• Strong Key Account management and relationship development within existing account base in order to maximize future growth potential.

• Identification and monitoring of market trends, opportunities and risks within the target market sectors.

• Maintaining highest level of business compliance and quality standards.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Glass Microspheres, Ceramic Fibres or similar technologies.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of at least two of our key target markets: Construction, Automotive, Aerospace, Energy.
  • Strong background of specification-driven selling within a highly technical, materials science business.
  • Significant experience within a similar high-tech, Business Development role.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to form strong relationships with internal and externalcustomers/stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of CRM systems. Salesforce.com desirable.
  • Technical/EngineeringDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar materials science qualification.
