Your way to impact:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive vision for the Fraud Protection product suite

Your day to day:

  • Bring a strong industry perspective geared towards machine learning/artificial intelligence that can help shape and evolve our products to the next level

  • Develop a deep technical understanding of our flagship AI-driven payments fraud prevention tool and have a strong empathy towards the pains and challenges of platform users such as developers, data scientists, and risk analysts

  • Think end-to-end about our fraud management solutions, including the onboarding journey, day to day usability, reporting, API engagement, pricing, and operational support

  • Embrace and lead an Agile team of highly engaged engineers through the software development lifecycle while practicing transparency, trust, collaboration, and humility

  • product and enablement gaps through feedback from regional teams, stakeholders, market researchetc

  • Establish a strong network of internal partnerships and advocacy with peers across all cross-functional groups in PayPal

  • Remove barriers to execution byworking closelywithinternal stakeholders like Data Science, Architecture, Customer Support, Integrations, Pricing operations, Finance, Legal & Compliance and moreto ensure alignment across multiple priorities

What do you need to bring:

  • +years of experience in leading the development of technical products and large-scale platforms with high-reliability requirements,

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services with deep working knowledge of risk management and disputes methodologies,

  • A strong senseof customer empathy, and deep curiosity and enthusiasm for solving customers’ problems

  • Familiarity with the fraud and risk management space, and a genuine desire to use technology to address merchants most critical needs

  • requirements, definingand setting up platform metrics andmonitoring, definingand understanding integration requirements with external platforms

  • Excellent people and communication skills are essential. The candidate should have the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside of PayPal
