Your key responsibilities

Towards this, you would have the following responsibilities:

  • Implementing best in class delivery for clients
  • Ensuring standard operating tax processes, building best practices, leveraging standard processes and identifying need for and infusing technology/ automation where required.
  • Monitoring and meeting engagement KPIs set by the client for EY
  • Organizing and engaging in discussions/ meetings with the client (at higher levels)
  • Resolving client issues and concerns in a timely manner
  • Leveraging EY experience to ensure best practices are implemented while operating the tax function
  • Co-ordinating with various specialist teams within the Practice to deliver outcomes to client
  • Taking part in strategic and tactical portions of service delivery (such as decisions onlitigation strategy, change management, new legislation implementation, etc)

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A qualified Chartered Accountant
  • 4-8 years of post-qualification tax experience in both Consulting and Industry with specialization in tax (preferably exposure across direct tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing)

Ideally you should have

  • Strong written/verbal communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Be highly flexible, team player, adaptable and creative
  • Comfortable in interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
  • Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility
