Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND solid related experience OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid professional experience in overall project management, construction, supply chain or procurement specifically with large complex Capital Projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management.
  • Experienced in full project cycle and executed large projects.
  • Significant people management experience.
  • Noteworthy experience in driving project execution for multiple categories including AE, GC, Construction Services, at a large scale
  • Knowledge of data center industry and experience managing a variety of project delivery methods - ability to lead a project team in defining risk and developing the appropriate contracting and compensation approach.

Background Check Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the development and execution of the datacenter build aligned with safety, quality, cost, and schedule goals.
  • Deploy disciplined project execution and governance across all projects within EMEA and apply consistency and predictability in delivering projects.
  • Responsible for development of overall EMEA execution plan in partnership with global EPC functional leaders to support the growing portfolio and campus planning strategy.
  • Work closely with global EPC functions ensuring global requirements and governance are implemented consistently within the region.
  • Oversee on time delivery of professional services (General Contracts/Construction Contracts, Architectural Engineering, and Commissioning Services) in support of data center delivery.
  • Manage General Contractors’ relationships within EMEA and participate in strategic agreement specific to the region aligned with our overall global strategy.
  • Work in partnership with regional permitting, power, and network team to streamline interdependencies on the build.
  • Monitor and analyze EMEA project portfolio and performance and implement improvements.
  • Maintain, manage, and drive build portfolio key performance results.
  • Collaborate cross functionally across the CO+I EMEA region and fully integrate within EPC with engineering, procurement, contract, project controls, and construction organization to safely delivery capacity to our customers with optimized total time to market and total cost of ownership.
