Who You Are

The Managed Services Solution Engineer is responsible to work with the global handled services partner teams to successfully develop and position new joint offerings for the managed services partners. In this position you will lead all aspects of the technical solution building process, from initial discussion, to building out technical service s playbooks to helping to build out labs and supporting the regional sales teams. Some level of technical hands-on configuration may also be required.

You will be responsible for driving the successful offer development with the managed services partners, You will be the go-to resource for:

  • Collaborating with the Service Creation team to drive and build outstanding solution offerings, leveraging the technical strengths & capabilities brought by Cisco and its partners.
  • Lead and support efforts defining enablement plans like owning the Blackbelt for managed Collaboration and the key person driving managed service events globally at Cisco live and MS Partner exchange
  • Work closely with BE’s on Managed Services via the Managed Services TAG to drive product roadmap prioritisation focused on Manged Services.
  • Work on complex large deals to help the partner team position the joint solution and help architect the solution in partnership with the partner architects.
  • Provide technology direction mentorship and sales engineering support to business development managers and partners.
  • Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products, and services.
  • Support Cisco culture by sharing technical, professional, and sales skills and knowledge with others.
  • Establish relationships with the technical and sales leadership team, SEVT, Cisco's Business Units, product lines, and associated product managers.
  • Be punctual, adaptable, and available in your engagements and communications to partners, peers, and extended team members and engagements.
Requirements
  • 12+ proven experience in Selling Cisco technologies.
  • Advanced understanding of industry trends, including new products and solutions of Cisco Technologies and other third parties
  • Knowledge and proven working experience in SaaS.
  • Work experience in driving complex POV/ POCs and resolve issues related to implementation.
  • Demonstrable experience with scripting languages such as Python, and API frameworks such as REST / SOAP.
Preferred Experience
  • Collaboration Industry knowledge, including solution, technology, and product offerings.
  • Understanding and conversant about company, solutions, and product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. You will work closely with theatre partner sales leadership to support Managed Service Sales in a strategic and tactical manner.
  • System Architect and solution integration experience of AWS and Azure beneficial
