HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Main responsibilities include:

  • Lead Network Automation planning and delivery for WAN/SDWAN, Core, WLAN and LAN connectivity for Nokia sites
  • Training of internal and external IT teams on Network Automation
  • Support development of Network Automation Tools
  • Support network optimization
  • Hands on work installing automation tools like NSP in IT environment and making them to work end to end
  • Working on public cloud environment to deploy automation tools
  • Supports special projects related to Public Cloud.
  • Supports scripting and coding for Public cloud environments
  • Drive end to end automation of Network infrastructure with a goal towards predictive monitoring and AIOPS
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.

The ideal candidate should have work experience with some or all of the following (minimum 10+ years relevant work experience):

  • Hands on experience in NSP (Network Service Platform) or equivalent automation tools being used in Enterprise.
  • Experience delivering professional services including network strategy, design and engineering, implementation, testing, customer training and on-site support.
  • Network Engineering expertise at a multi-vendor integration experience.
  • Cloud Computing knowledge around Hypervisors, Cloud Management Systems, SDN and NFV concepts.
  • Strong working level knowledge of IP Networking. Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP), signalling protocols (RSVP, LDP), Segment Routing, QoS, IP VPN, VPLS, eVPN, BRAS, NAT,DPI etc.
  • Specific Nokia knowledge around Nuage product is a plus
  • Specific Nokia knowledge of 7950,7750, 7210, 7220 and 7705 product lines is a plus
  • 3rd party router expertise, include Cisco/Juniper product lines.
  • Excellent hands-on network integration and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Influences others outside of the team to ensure goals are met and conflicts are resolved.
  • Responds to requests for technical information and assistance in a timely and professional manner
  • Knowledge of public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP
