Key job responsibilitiesYou will play a key role on a team as it designs, builds, ships, and operates new and existing developer tools products, by:* Leading the development of technically ambiguous projects related to IDE integration with internal tools, language-specific support, and package manager connection to internal software repositories.
* Collaborating with open-source and third-party vendors, such as VS Code and JetBrains.
* Engaging with developers within Amazon to build IDE support exceeding the expectations of Amazon builders.
* Delivering high-quality technical solutions that delight our builders.
* Demonstrating good taste in developer experience and tooling design through the SDLC.
* Partnering with your manager and engineering leads to influence technical architecture and product roadmaps.
* Setting a high bar of technical and operational excellence, and empower your colleagues to continuously meet and raise the bar.A day in the life

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 4+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
