What you need to know about the role

Your day to day –

In your day-to-day role you will:

• Leaddesign/solution discussions with local and global stakeholders

• Mentorand coach junior engineers, own code quality, conduct code reviews

• Ownimplementation of amodule/application/product

• Participatein complex architectural discussions that involve multiple systems

• Identifyproduct/functionalitygaps and collaborate internal product and technology teams to define the necessary development to support solution delivery.

• Driveintegration efforts and lead critical work streams of strategic initiatives sponsored by senior executives

• Driveengineering excellency through CI/CD/automation

• Pro-activeresponse in identifying and troubleshooting integration or technical issues.

• Driveengineering excellency by creating reusable, production-ready code

• Collaboratewith cross functional engineering teams globally to drive and align on solutiondesign/implementation

What do you need to bring-

• Minimumof 8+ years of experience

• Owned/actingas tech lead forcomponent/services/domains

• Expertknowledge in Node.js development using Express.js, Koa.js or otherframeworks

• Expertknowledge in Java, Spring framework, REST, gRPC

• Experiencedwith asynchronous patterns and messaging frameworks (e.g. Kafka)

• Familiaritywith other languages and technologies development, including Golang, Ruby, Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL Databases.

• Experiencein various architecture design patterns, design and implementation of Financial Systems/Platforms such as Core Banking, Back-end Payment Hubs, Financial reconciliation and reporting

• Expertisein designing for reliability, availability, scalability and performance in highly regulated Financial Services industry preferred.

• Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills.

• Abilityto create structure and drive progress in an ambiguous environment

• Superbcommunication skills; ability to comfortably interact with tech and non-tech colleagues

• Demonstratedability to scope, create and successfully deploy new strategy/ initiatives / capabilities

• Experiencecollaborating with engineering teams from multiple geo-locations

• Experiencewith front-end frameworks a plus
