Description
In this job you will be responsible for developing firmware in C/C++ to implement critical FW features for IPs inside SOC. You will be required to understand how these IPs work by reading their specifications and RTL implementations. You will also occasionally write RTL to implement hardware widgets used by firmware.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS degree in technical discipline with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven excellence in FW development using C or C++ and/or assembly language with ARM CPUs.
  • Solid understanding of MCUs and ISR.
  • Solid understanding of computer architecture.
  • Solid understanding of ARM AHB/APB protocols.
  • Deep knowledge of RTL design.
  • Deep knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog.
  • Experience with version control tools (git, Perforce) is a plus.
  • Experience with real-time operation system is a plus.
  • Understanding of mixed signal concepts is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161,700 and $284,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
