As a Senior Software Engineer, You will design, build, deliver, and maintain cutting-edge software applications and services. You will work extensively with AWS native services and Python, driving innovation in cloud and data centre applications. This role demands a proactive approach to feature ownership and thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Technical Expertise:

• Extensive experience in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, and Software Design Patterns.

• Proven expertise in building applications on AWS using native services and Python.

• Good knowledge of automation and DevOps practices.

• Proficient in microservices architecture, API development, unit testing, and API testing.

• Skilled in using build and deployment tools.

• Ability to independently tackle ambiguous problems and deliver robust solutions.

• Deliver working features spanning the full software development lifecycle, including customer-focused design, implementation, testing, deployment, operations, and documentation.

• Balance constraints to ensure maintainable and extensible software.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to train new team members on best engineering practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) with a minimum of6+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud and Python.

Desired Skills:

• AWS certification.

• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics.

• Good written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment.
