JOB DESCRIPTION

The position requires a broad and deep understanding of Artificial Intelligence technologies and how they can be used in automation systems and their applicability to key market segments. It requires a person who can harmonize a large range of often competing needs against a certain level of R&D while bringing stakeholders to an appropriate level of understanding and buy-in to a final plan. We value people working with IOT Solutions involving Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, and similar technologies in the industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall ownership for the development and program management of the suite of AI-based solutions.

• Work with a dynamic team of Offering Management, Product Management, Data Scientists, and Technologists to address needs ranging from business and market orientation to highly technical requirements.

• Manage the translation of STRAP positioning and its implications on product development through to IPP (Investment Prioritization Process) to drive development plans by presenting alternate cases and achieve buy-in from a range of business stakeholders.

• Ongoing AI Portfolio Management driving investment decisions, including product development, and integration between existing products and applicable 3rd party solutions.

• Application of Offering Management principles and techniques including Z21, O/VOC, Segmentation, Competition Mapping and Value Pricing to manage a suite of complex product and solution offerings and capabilities to support:

o Product/ Solution Cost competitiveness for the broad range of application scenarios

o Constant optimization of offerings, price points and hence value capture

• NPI Reporting and analysis to identify trends and anomalies in our solutions sales versus expectation and recommend/drive actions.

• Strong cooperation with Marketing Communications to successfully launch new offerings and integration with existing offerings to maximize HPS return on investment.

• Proactively engage a broad cross-section of business functions including Sales, Customer and Industry Marketing, Proposals and Estimation, Projects, Sourcing, Integrated Supply Chain, Finance and Legal to ensure that products and solutions are well defined, launched, quoted, delivered, supported, and protected all at the appropriate cost.

• Develop holistic AI Solutions across HPS value propositions specifically tailored for high-impact, target industries and customers.

• Identify new entrants in AI technology - partners, collaborators and competitors and support M&A Opportunities.

• Provide launch and ongoing training to business stakeholders.

• Implement Z21 Development methodology for funded investments to drive Technology and other supporting functions toward the best ROI.

• Provide leadership and representation for customer forums such as trade shows, seminars, webinars, Honeywell User Groups, Customer Advisory Boards and UIS meetings.

Must Have

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

•10+ years of experience with SCADA and/or distributed control systems including prior practical experience with configuration and deployment of such systems.

•3+ years in Product Development / Offering Management / Business Development / Consulting or in a Business Leadership role with a focus on Artificial Intelligent products or offerings

•Ready to Travel at least 30-40% (International or Domestic)

We Value

•Preferred bachelor’s degree in Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

•People working with IIOT Solutions involving Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) technologies in the industrial markets

•A broad understanding of process control customer needs and market behaviors geographically and across vertical markets and a range of segments

•Thorough knowledge of Offering/Product management and market penetration strategies and market development strategies and techniques

•Ability to develop and implement effective communication plans for internal/external customers

•Understanding and experience of conduction Proof of Concepts, Pilots with AI based offerings is preferred.

•Six Sigma Certification preferred

•Green Belt Project Execution preferred
