Senior Software Engineer

Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in software engineering or related experience; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of experience in software engineering or related experience.

Must have experience with: Designing and implementing REST API web services using Java, Spring boot; Working with non-relational and relational databases; Coding in object-oriented programming language (Java); Writing unit test using frameworks like JUNIT; Using version control tool like git or GitHub; Analyzing code and creating design documents; Developing streaming applications that use message queues and Kafka; Performance testing on existing and new applications to ensure they meet SLA using tools such as Visual VM; Monitoring applications deployed in production and providing support in case of application failure by providing code fix or data fix; and Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker.
