Role Description

This position sits within the UK Investment Banking and Corporate Broking team and is based in London. As an Associate in the UK team, you will participate in the full cycle of transaction execution including idea generation, preparation of client materials, reviewing and creating financial analysis as well as preparing and presenting to clients and to internal committees. You will

Responsibilities

  • Project management in live M&A and capital markets transactions

  • Financial analysis including valuation, benchmarking and merger modelling.

  • Preparation of management and board materials, information memos and other transaction documents

  • Building relationships with colleagues across product, sector, and regional teams

  • Supporting due diligence and deal documentation

  • Research on industries and companies as well as supporting idea generation.

  • Proven financial analysis and modelling skills.

  • High attention to detail, diligence, and conscientiousness,

  • Ambition and a willingness to work hard,

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills,

  • Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams and individuals.
