We are seeking for a İstanbul,with the following qualifications, skills and experience:
University degree in law from a reputable Turkish University or from a Foreign University duly accepted in Turkey
Strong knowledge of Turkish Commercial Code and Code of Obligations and Labor law.
Fluency and good command of both written and spoken Turkish and English.
Minimum 6-8 years of full-time experience at a company as an in-house lawyer or as a law firm lawyer serving corporate clients in both litigation and corporate matters. Experience in handling employment-related disputes and litigations will be considered a significant plus.
Basic Regulatory and Corporate compliance and company policies experience.
Corporate Secretarial Services experience such as preparing Annual General Board Meetings and Board of Directors Resolutions etc.
Knowledge and experience in writing, reviewing and executing business contracts.
Knowledge of data privacy legislation and implementation will be considered a significant plus.
Good interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team and communicate in multi-cultural business environment.
Good command in MS Office.
Job description;
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating business contracts such as engagement letters for audit and consultancy services, NDA's, various types of vendor contracts (service agreements, lease agreements etc.).
Handling commercial and employment-related litigations, follow-ups of all relevant procedures regarding the ongoing litigations and enforcement files.
Preparation and follow-ups of the Corporate Secretarial Services such as Annual General Board Meetings and Board of Directors Resolutions, etc. including the necessary “Mersis” procedures.
Advising on matters related to compliance with local laws and regulations, as well as relevant Company’s policies; participation in development and implementation of Company policies and procedures.
Performing legal research and providing verbal and written legal advice to the company’s service lines and support functions.
Keeping relevant matter files and carrying out internal and external business correspondence and communications in connection with the above-said responsibilities.
