In this role, you are expected to:
Evaluate and approve credit proposals within delegated credit authority, ensuring compliance with risk policies and standards as well as regulatory requirements.
Prioritize and timely review of credit requests, providing sound credit judgement in approving profitable and prudent credit exposures.
Maintain close risk oversight of the borrowers to minimize credit costs and assure the risk profile remains within the Bank’s credit appetite. Provide immediate attention and guidance to deteriorating credits.
Develop a holistic understanding of Wholesale Credit Risk Policies, Standards and Procedures, including CCB Country Appendix and Local Operating Procedures
Participate in portfolio reviews and stress tests, and to implement action plan(s) where appropriate.
Implement relevant credit policies and procedures and to provide guidance and expertise as required.
Work with stake holders and assist them in regulatory reviews, internal and external audit exercises.
Work with stake holders and assist in maintenance of data quality, collateral monitoring and other credit processes.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
• MBA/ Chartered Accountant or equivalent
