As a System Hardware & Software Quality Engineer, you will be a key player in validating prototype hardware and WatchOS software. Your contributions will directly impact the product's overall quality, ensuring both the software and hardware meet the highest standards. In this role, you will collaborate within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, developing and employing test infrastructure to drive product excellence. This position will require ~10% international travel.Key Responsibilities:- Custom Scripting & Failure Analysis: Develop custom scripts for efficient failure analysis, improving overall test coverage and factory reliability.- Automation & Maintenance: Enhance and maintain stress rack automation to streamline testing processes and improve system reliability.
- BS degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Python or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Familiarity with computer architecture and electrical engineering principles related to hardware design.
- Proven commitment to software and hardware quality assurance, with experience in identifying, analyzing, and resolving bugs.
- Experience with codebase management.
- A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, thriving in dynamic, cross-functional environments.
- MS degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in developing test automation frameworks.
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience in hardware/software quality engineering or a related field.
