• Propose, create, and define solutions that best fit the business problems/needs, ensuring thorough analysis and planning.
• Take responsibility for creating feature, architectural, and solution documentation.
• Provide functional features, such as worksheets, dashboards, and alerts through configuration, to maximize business value from innovative standard features and capabilities.
• Act as a guardian of planning software platforms, ensuring they remain standard and do not become overly customized.
• Challenge solution proposals from Software Vendors and System Integrators to ensure simplicity, usability, and cost efficiency for the business.
• Set up and facilitate System Integration tests, coordinate user acceptance tests (UAT), and perform data validation with key users during system deployments.
• Participate in defining the scope of releases to maximize business impact across the E2E Supply Chain Planning Process, considering change management implications.
• Manage all demand and supply planning data sources, secure external and internal integrations, ensure performance
• Responsible for all RapidResponse Systems and their application servers for integration, configuration, change/project planning & deployment and upgrades
• Responsible for newly implemented project for
  • Integration processing to/from Rapid Response
  • all non-standard business requests
  • e2e monitoring data sources development and planning
  • all Unix-based processing
• User management supervisory and user communication

You have:

• Bachelors or Masters degree. in information technology, computer science, mathematics, or an equivalent qualification, with at least 4-10 years of work experience, preferably in the Supply Chain Area

Technology competences

• understanding network protocols/troubleshooting, TCP/IP stack, routing, addressing
• understanding basic network applications DNS, HTTP, SFTP, SSH, radius, proxy, caching, syslog, email etc.
• Understanding workflow management system concepts like Autosys (CA Workload Control Center) or equivalents
• understanding various aspects of data storing (file attributes, ascii/unicode, timezones, compressions etc)
• At minimum: Kinaxis RapidResponse Contributor
• General programming (ex. C, Pascal, java or shell scriptiong)
• Basic data analytic skills using SQL and Excel queries
• Strong competences of Unix; security model, permissions, filesystems, mounting, statistics
• VERY good analytic skills and troubleshooting
• Very good application knowledge of SAP4 Hana / ECC6
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

It would be nice if you also had:

• Good understanding of Cloud, SaaS, Mobile concepts, architectures, and standard deployment models.
• Capability to validate system solutions, design and propose alternatives from process, change, business, and technical viewpoints to best implement standard/out-of-the-box solutions.
• Experience evaluating the change management impact of a proposed solution.
• Ability to understand the process and solution architecture of E2E (end-to-end) across multiple technologies.
• Comfortable with agile, DevOps, and waterfall methodologies.
• Understanding of the relationship between costs, schedule, quality, and speed in defining a solution and making tradeoff recommendations.
• Ability to work autonomously in an international context.
