Yesterday
As a Cellular RF Control System Engineer, you will model and implement control flows for modern RF transceivers. You will understand and map system requirements and algorithms to HW/FW architectures to ensure development of state-of-the-art design covering all aspects of the system including functionality, performance, power, latency, area, and debuggability. You will develop simulation models to accurately capture architecture functionality, analog, digital, and FW interfaces, and play an active role in bring-up, and debug of silicon. This position requires strong collaboration with SoC, MAC, PHY, RF HW, RF FW, and SW teams to ensure the end-to-end system requirements are met. You will also have a critical hands-on role in pre- and post-silicon verification, validation, and bring-up of silicon, to support productization.
  • BS with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of communication theory and signal processing algorithms.
  • Good understanding of communication theory, wireless communication systems, and signal processing algorithms.
  • Ability to analyze and develop detailed models for RF transceiver control for both on chip and off chip components.
  • Good experience with Matlab, Python, and C/C++ for system development, modeling, simulation, efficient analysis, and automation scripting.
  • MSEE or beyond is preferred.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with RF transceiver or similar complex SoC development and bring-up.
  • Strong technical background in 5G-NR/LTE/UMTS (3G/2G)/Wi-Fi physical layer and protocols.
  • Hands-on experience in applying AI/ML techniques on real-world data sets to solve complex engineering problems.
  • Demonstrate clarity of thought and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with microcontroller programming, HW/FW partitioning, modem architecture, hardware and software control, and FW development.
  • Experience with silicon prototyping, emulation systems, and virtual platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in bring-up of real silicon in lab, and ability to efficiently use lab equipment (such as spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power meter, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal especially in a multi-functional environment.
