To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Experience and appetite for learning. We’re looking for individuals with relevant experience or education in technology, engineering, solution architecture, financial services, or other related fields.
  • Typically, successful candidates have 8+ years of experience delivering projects through strategy, design, build, test, and delivery.
  • At least 5 years’ experience working in Consulting, ideally in the Financial Services and Banking sectors.
  • Strong understanding of credit union or small to medium financial institution operations, regulatory requirements, and industry challenges.
  • Experience managing engagements from an internal perspective (strong understanding of engagement commercials and deal structuring).
  • Experience in Enterprise Technology modernization including areas such as Digital Banking and Core modernization, Technology Transformation strategy, planning, and delivery.
  • Understanding of complex ecosystems including areas such integration architecture, data architecture, and to a lesser extent and understanding of infrastructure architecture.
  • Manage offshore teams and inclusive collaboration.
  • Ability to manage the integrated roadmap across different squads, track delivery at a detailed level against timelines, and manage dependencies to prevent delays.
  • Strong experiential knowledge in Delivery Governance.
  • Ability to work with clients at all levels from executive to delivery teams.
  • Experience working with third party solution providers and sub-contractors, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • On-site work with clients could be required including some travel outside of Ontario.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience/Knowledge of:
    • Business and IT architecture
    • The following technologies and their purpose is useful but not required (e.g., Kubernetes, API Gateways, App Services, event streaming technologies, alerting an monitoring tools, etc.)
    • Agile and other project management methodologies
