What you'll be doing:
Hands on engineering role asQuality representativeto Automotive Customers.
Coordinate quality engineering activities between OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 3.
Provide Failure Analysis direction at Tier 1.
Initiate RMA tracking on all returned units from OEMs.
Quality engineering support to monitor DPPM and Yield from Tier 3.
Publish weekly quality trend reporting for management.
Collaborate with engineering, customer program, and supply chain on quality defects.
Track unit failures to timely resolutions and report to Tier 1.
Participate in conference calls related to product quality.
Test and validate VCM returned units utilizing test box units.
Coordinate communication and implementation of the customer's quality standards within various internal teams at NVIDIA.
What we need to see:
Bachelor Degree from a leading university in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
4+ years of experience.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English.
Significant experience in electronics customer quality assurance role.
Knowledge of ISO/TS16949, ISO26262, and other automotive quality and functional system requirements.
Proficiency with writing 8D reports and collecting the details to provide complete analysis to customers’ expectations.
Proficiency using MS Office software tools and email for presenting data and communication.
Good organizational skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management and task prioritization skills.
Proactive and able to work with minimum supervision.
How to stand out from the crowd:
Knowledge of SMD (Surface Mount Device) and SMT (Surface Mount Technology) manufacturing practices and controls.
Experience with Data Analytics and Reporting (Excel and JMP)
