Industrial Automation (IA) achieving lowest Total Cost for ESS/IA, reduced Working capital via Negotiation planning and execution, High Growth Region Sourcing, Value Engineering and Sole/ Single Source elimination. You will lead supplier performance over spend for ESS/IA in America, building partnership and will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, export/import regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Packaging category strategies leveraging best-in-class suppliers, processes and products to enable a competitive advantage to ESS/IA business in America
• Partner with COE category sourcing partners and ESS/IA cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and support of category strategy creation and execution for America
• Consolidate fragmented ESS/IA Mechanical spend in America, reduce the use of non-strategic suppliers, and move the procurement activities upstream in the lifecycle of a solution to bring greater value to Honeywell
• Execute the annual operating plan through year-over-year improvements in productivity, working capital, quality, delivery and supply continuity
• Identify and select approved suppliers capable of providing solutions that meet established business requirements and follow the global commodity strategies
• Engage in new product development to drive business award to preferred suppliers and support the launch schedule and target cost
• Facilitate engagement across ESS/IA business and functions to drive a singular approach to supplier management in assigned Mechanical commodity space
• Negotiate and execute supply agreements with strategic suppliers to maximize benefit to Honeywell
• Build strong technical solutions including new technology, VA/VE, CE product and cost improvements with supply base
• Support the refresh of Mechanical COEs and ESS/IA sourcing AOPs and strategic plans
• Drive world-class performance from supply base
• Work with Category COE and ESS/IA sourcing and procurement teams in America to achieve lowest total cost, continuous quality improvement, and on-time delivery
• Work with global commodity leaders to assure a coordinated commodity strategy exists across the enterprise in America
• Ensure global policy compliance

Includes:

• Leverage Mechanical spend (volume) across Honeywell ESS/IA in America to drive year-over-year savings
• Drive supplier rationalization to preferred / best-in-class suppliers, lead supplier business reviews and manage supplier relationship
• Complete and manage supplier contracts and multi-year agreements
• Optimize working capital for the organization
• Secure supply by partnering with suppliers and ESS/IA stakeholders to support demand and business growth
• Improve overall operational service levels to the business

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or Business
• At least 6 years of work experience in strategic sourcing and leading successful supplier negotiations
• Experience in sourcing Mechanical commodities for Packaging

Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience

Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management

Team Leader experience in Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement/Business
